How Does the “Randomize” Feature Work?

Suppose you're running an outreach campaign and sending 20 connection requests daily. While you can set your action limit, performing the same number of actions every day may be seen as suspicious to LinkedIn. Using We-Connect's 'randomize' feature can negate any security concerns by emulating human behavior.

By randomizing your daily actions, We-Connect performs a range of actions rather than your specific action limit. For example, if you set your action limit to 30, We-Connect will vary that number within five actions and send 25 to 30 requests instead.

Where do I find it? Randomize is available in both We-Connect campaign builders: the Legacy campaign and the new LinkedIn Lead Engine. The setting works exactly the same way in both, it just lives in a slightly different place. Jump to the section that matches the campaign you're using.

Step 1: Navigate to the 'Campaigns' tab from the left-hand menu bar.

The campaign manager is where you can create, edit, and start or stop automated LinkedIn and email campaigns.

Step 2: Add a new campaign or edit a previously created one.

Once you open a campaign, you're able to edit the targeting, automation sequence, filtering, and turn on 'randomization.'

Step 3: In the 'Settings' tab, toggle on 'Randomize Daily Actions.'

As a reminder, when toggled off, We-Connect will perform your exact action limit every day. When toggled on, it will automatically vary the number of actions each day.

Note: We recommend keeping randomization on for all your campaigns for an added layer of security.

In the LinkedIn Lead Engine, campaign-wide settings live inside the Start campaign setup node on the canvas rather than a separate Settings tab. Here's how to turn on randomization.

Step 1: Open your Lead Engine campaign.

From the campaign manager, open an existing Lead Engine campaign, or create a new one by clicking + Create a new campaign and selecting The new LinkedIn Lead Engine.

Step 2: On the workflow canvas, click the Start campaign setup node.

This is the first node in every Lead Engine campaign. Clicking it opens the setup panel, which contains three tabs: Audience, AI & Business Snapshot, and Settings.

Step 3: Open the Settings tab and expand the LinkedIn Settings section.

Here you'll find your connected LinkedIn account, your daily action limit, and the randomize option.

Step 4: Toggle on Randomize daily actions.

Just like in Legacy campaigns, when toggled off We-Connect performs your exact action limit every day, and when toggled on it automatically varies the number within five actions.
