Set up the correct HubSpot permissions to ensure a smooth integration with We-Connect and enable contact sync, list updates, and CRM associations.
Before connecting your HubSpot account to We-Connect, make sure your HubSpot user has the right permissions. Without these, certain features like syncing contacts or updating lists may not work as expected.
In this article, we’ll walk you through the exact permission settings to enable so you can get the most out of your We-Connect and HubSpot integration.
Step 1: Go to your HubSpot account settings
From your HubSpot dashboard, click your profile icon → Profile & Preferences → User & Team Settings.
Select the user you want to update, then click the Permissions tab.
Step 2: Enable CRM Object Permissions
Under CRM, turn on access for Contacts.
Step 3: Enable CRM Tool Permissions
Under CRM Tools, enable Edit Associations.
Step 4: Enable Marketing Permissions
Under Marketing, turn on access for lists.
Step 5: Enable Settings Access
Under Settings, enable:
App Marketplace Access
App Marketplace Uninstall Access
Edit Property Settings
