Learn how to leave a team on We-Connect, what happens to your data, and what to expect afterwards.
If you were invited to a team on We-Connect, you can leave it at any time from your My Profile page. Only the team owner can remove other members, but leaving is always your own choice.
Important: leaving a team permanently deletes your campaigns, lists, and any LinkedIn accounts you connected. This cannot be undone. If you want to keep any of your work, export your contact lists and note down your campaign setups before you leave.
How to leave a team
Step 1: Click your profile icon in the top right corner and open 'My Profile.'
Step 2: Scroll to the team section. You'll see which team you belong to and who owns it.
Step 3: Click 'Leave Team.'
A confirmation window explains exactly what will be deleted. Read it carefully. If you're sure, confirm to leave.

Your campaigns, lists, and any LinkedIn accounts you connected are permanently deleted
If you had a Personal Seat, it's freed up on the team's subscription
The team owner is notified by email
You're logged out of We-Connect
Your login itself isn't deleted. The next time you sign in, you become the owner of your own account and go through a fresh setup, starting with how you plan to use We-Connect.
FAQ
Can I rejoin the team later? Yes, but only by being invited again by the team owner. You'll start fresh: your previous campaigns, lists, and connected LinkedIn accounts are not restored.
Can I move my campaigns to my new account first? Campaigns can't be transferred between accounts. You can export your contact lists as CSV before leaving and re-import them into your new account.
I'm the team owner. Can I leave my own team? No. As the owner, you manage the team rather than leave it. To remove a member from your team, see [How To Add and Manage Team Members].
Does the team owner have to approve my leaving? No. Leaving is your decision. The owner is notified by email after you leave.
