How to Edit or Delete a Sent Message in We-Connect

Made a typo? Forgot to include a detail? No worries, you can now edit or delete a LinkedIn message directly inside We-Connect. This feature gives you full control over your outreach even after you’ve hit “Send.”

🪄 What You Can Do

  • Edit a sent message: Fix typos, rephrase text, or update information.

  • Delete a sent message: Remove a message that you no longer want to appear in the chat.

💡 How It Works

  1. Go to your Inbox and open the conversation.

  2. Hover over the message you want to change.

  3. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to the message.

  4. Choose Edit or Delete.

    • If you select Edit, make your changes and click Save.

    • If you select Delete, confirm to remove the message.

⏰ Time Limit

You can edit or delete a message within 60 minutes of sending it. This is in line with LinkedIn’s policy, so keep that in mind.
