We-Link API uses a credit-based system, where each API call counts as one credit. Credits are sold in blocks of 100,000, and each block costs $490. Once purchased, credits are valid for 12 months. If your credits run out, API calls will pause until more are added.
To avoid interruptions, you can enable auto top-up. This feature automatically adds new blocks of credits when your balance drops below a threshold you define. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to set up auto top-up and ensure your API usage continues without delay.
Step 1: Open the billing page
From your We-Link dashboard, go to Billing and click ‘Upgrade subscription.’
Once you’ve created a subscription, you’ll be able to view:
Your current plan
Payment method
Past invoices
API usage and credit balance
Step 2: Enable auto top-up
Toggle on Auto top-up and set:
Threshold: The number of credits remaining that will trigger an automatic top-up
Top-up Amount: The number of credit blocks you'd like added each time the threshold is reached
This ensures your credits are replenished before they run out.
Step 3: Enter your billing and payment information
Fill in your billing details and payment method, then review your purchase. Once confirmed, your auto top-up will be active, and your API usage will continue uninterrupted.
