AI Assist: What It Does and How to Use It

We-Connect’s AI Assist provides a detailed summary of a LinkedIn profile or conversation thread. You can use these summaries for contact research or take it a step further to generate a personalized message.

You can find AI Assist anywhere you can message within We-Connect (the messaging tab, the campaign manager, or the contacts page).

Step 1: From the 'Messaging' tab, select the contact you want a summary on and click the 'AI' icon.

The AI menu will appear with options to: Digest Profile or Digest Thread. From this screen, you can also manage prompt history, chat log, and AI settings.

Step 2: Choose from 'Digest Profile' or 'Digest Thread.'

The AI Assist page has a number of noteworthy buttons, which we will cover below. To start, let's understand the two main features of AI Assist:

  • Digest Profile: Get a summary of a contact's experience, interests, LinkedIn stats, and a personalized outreach message.

  • Digest Thread: Get the summary of a prior conversation with a lead, as well as a relevant follow-up message.

Additionally, there are a few other buttons which you should be aware of:

  • Prompts Library: View our existing prompts to optimize essential aspects of your profile, generate tailored messages, or build a dedicated outreach sequence.

  • History: View past chats with AI Assist.

  • Settings: You can change the language and tone of voice of our AI and provide context about your business or use case. 

Step 3: Click 'Prompt Library' to explore our saved prompts and create your own.

When creating a prompt, you must name it, select the type (LinkedIn or email), and enter the prompt.

After you select a prompt (or enter your own prompt), you can the option to edit the response based on a number of criteria:

  • Fix Grammar: Revise any grammatical mistakes in the response.

  • Formality: Change the formality of the response from casual, professional, or neutral.

  • Tone of Voice: Select from a number of tones to customize your response.

  • Translate: Translate your response into another language.

  • Change Length: Shorten or lengthen the generated response.
