When you’re managing conversations in We-Connect, keeping your team aligned is key. That’s where notes come in. Notes let you leave internal messages on a conversation. That way, you can share context, flag follow-ups, or loop in teammates without the lead ever seeing it.
By default, notes are visible to all team members. If you want to send notes just for yourself or between specific team members, you can tag users and mark your message as private.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Open the 'Messaging' tab
Head to the Messaging section in your We-Connect dashboard and open the conversation where you’d like to add a note.
You can also add notes in the 'Inbox' tab of one of your campaigns.
Step 2: Click “Note”
Switch from a regular message to an internal note by clicking the Note tab in the composer.
Step 3: Write your note
Type your message. You can use the @ symbol to tag any teammates you'd like to notify (you can turn off your notifications from the settings menu).
By default, your note will be visible to your team. If you want it to stay private, click Send as private note. Note that private messages will still be visible to anyone you have tagged.
Either way, the contact will never see any notes -- whether team-visible or private.
Step 4: Click “Add note”
Click Add Note to save it to the conversation thread. It’ll appear alongside the messages, clearly marked as a note.
