LinkedIn profiles aren’t always perfect, especially when it comes to names. Titles like “Mr.,” “Ms.,” “Sr.,” or additional information like “MBA” can inadvertently appear in first or last name fields, making your outreach feel impersonal or automated.
Contact Cleanup helps you fix that by automatically removing unwanted words or phrases from contact names before your messages go out. It’s simple to set up and makes your outreach feel 100% authentic.
How to use contact cleanup
Step 1: From the 'Contact Cleanup' tab in the settings menu, enable Contact Cleanup.
You can turn contact cleanup on or off at any time.
Step 2: Add any additional keywords you’d like to remove from contact names
We’ve already included a list of the most common words found in LinkedIn names, like “Mr,” “Ms,” “Sr,” “Jr,” and others — so you’re covered right out of the gate.
If there are other titles, degrees, or phrases you’d like removed from a contact’s first or last name, you can easily add them to the list.
If We-Connect detects any of these phrases in a contact's first or last name, We-Connect will automatically remove them, making your outreach feel more genuine.
